Florida Deep Sea Fishing Charters

Florida is one of the premiere deep sea fishing locations around. The state is positioned perfectly for accessing the abundant game fish resources that the Gulf of Mexico has to offer, but lets get down to the main reason for this article which is deep sea fishing charters in Florida. Now, I will tell you this – I am not the most knowledgeable expert for all of Florida’s fishing charters. I have however, tried many of the most famous ones.

Captain Anderson’s Marina is one of the first fishing charters on out list. For party boats, this is by far my favorite. I don’t know why exactly, but this fishing charter has always been the most successful out of all of the party boat services that I have been on. There are several trips that they offer ranging from half days, to full days, to overnight deep sea fishing trips. I have been on half days and full days, but would like to try an overnight deep sea fishing charter expedition. To tell you the truth, the prices for the full and half day fishing trips were not that bad. I believe that it was somewhere in the neighborhood of sixty dollars per person. That is not bad compared to what private deep sea fishing charters charge. If you go on one of these you are looking at several hundred dollars. Anyways, what I like about Captain Anderson’s Deep Sea Fishing Charters is that they have always produced a great time for me. They have a cook on board that makes the trip enjoyable, not to mention all of the fish that I catch. Some of the most common fish caught on the full day fishing trip were red snapper, trigger fish, b or v liners (I cant really remember which one they were called) , and the occasional grouper. I have actually seen a few people on my boat catch a couple of Mahi-Mahi. A school of them swam by our boat and a few lucky people hooked up. Anyway, this deep sea fishing party boat also has a place where you can get your fished cleaned after your trip is over. Once your fish have been cleaned, you can also get the fish cooked at the restaurant next door and have them for lunch. This was quite the experience. For those of you who are interested, this party boat service is located near Panama City in Florida. There are also a few other deep sea fishing party boats in the marina as well.

The next deep sea fishing service that I want to talk about is Captain Hubbard’s which is located in John’s Pass. I have had decent luck with this charter as well. Another place that you should also check out is St. Marks Fishing Camp. I had a great time fishing when I visited this area.
